I'd like to share a very small wall in a very SMALL bathroom.
I love all three of these pictures...they have special meaning to me.
This picture was one of the first pieces of "art" I ever bought, I think I was about 20 years old. I've since had the matting and frame changed but I still love it. The title is Weather beaten by Neal A. Parent
This next picture I actually won in a raffle. My father was still alive and we had gone to the Arts by the Sea in Swansboro. I had not been married for very long and put my name in the drawing...Michelle Edwards. Dad and I got separated and eventually they announced the winner. They made the announcement a second time...finally my dad found me and asked "Didn't you hear them call your name? They said Michelle Edwards twice" I replied "No! They called my name?" We died laughing because I didn't even recognize hearing my married name! I will always keep that photo and that memory close. It's by a North Carolina photographer: Dave Collins.
This next photograph I took when I went home last year... I love that gnarly tree!
